You will join a well funded (Series C) US Startup in Bengaluru.

You get to work on a state-of-the-art Data Engineering Platform deployed by some of the largest companies in the world to run business critical decision systems.

Experience

5+ Years of Experience

Qualification

  • Experience in system engineering
  • Experience in debugging infrastructure issues on production Hadoop clusters
  • Ability to write programs in a high level programming language
  • Ability to understand the code base of an application
  • Strong expertise in shell scripting or perl
  • Strong understanding of unix based operating systems
  • A bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Work on troubleshooting the Hadoop cluster specific configurations, issues and optimizations
  • Operate complex installations of Hadoop applications
  • Build System Engineering components.
  • Develop best practices for product deployments on clouds both public and private.

Preferred skills

  • Experience with Build and Release process
  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Past experience with application development
