Performance Marketing Manager

We are a global media, branding and technology company, with a focus on news and information about business, investing, technology, entrepreneurship, leadership and affluent lifestyles.

We are looking to hire a highly driven, results-oriented Performance Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. This person will play a huge role in defining and executing on the overall marketing strategy for our next wave of growth.

A successful candidate will have the freedom and flexibility to expand the role to the very limits of their ambition and capability.

5+ years relevant work experience with performance paid media.

About you

  • Plan, Analyze and optimize digital marketing campaigns as they relate to the profitable acquisition of customers.
  • Collaborate with our Data Science, Product Management teams and other cross functional teams to develop, test, and optimize our global keyword strategy across the different search engine platforms. Help shape product strategy and execution.
  • Leverage your analytical abilities to look beyond the numbers in our paid marketing channels and understand how our members interact with our website and app to grow the business
  • Track marketing effectiveness, uncover insights, and proactively share recommendations.
  • Build and scale cost efficient paid digital campaigns spanning multiple channels and objectives. This will be your bread and butter.
  • Be the marketing expert that product teams look to as their marketing needs grow
  • Contribute to a creative and collaborative environment where smart experimentation is encouraged


  • An original and creative thinker: Deep knowledge of the digital landscape and the end-to-end digital customer journey elements (segmentation, audience selection and targeting rules) enables you to influence campaign ideation, decision-making and overall program success.
  • Operational master: You always know how your channels and campaigns are performing and constantly working to improve them.
  • Nimble: You easily adjust to the ever-changing needs of a company in hyper-growth.
  • Data driven: You find working with data stimulating, and can quickly draw out insights from performance marketing campaign data reports.

  • Incredibly coachable personality — you are constantly looking for opportunities to improve your craft
  • Experience managing large or complex paid performance channel budgets. (million dollar and above monthly spend)
  • Strong analytical background in both Excel and mobile measurement partners (e.g. Appsflyer)
  • Proven ability to build accurate campaign budgets and campaign forecasts
  • Experience in experimentation, A/B testing, analyzing data sets, and interpret them to make business decisions
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
