Principal Software Engineer [Front End]

Experience

6+ years of software development experience in one or more front end focused programming languages; JavaScript, Typescript, ES6

About you

  1. Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks such as LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular with experience with CSS.
  2. Experienced with REST, HTTP, and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs is a plus.
  3. Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Knowledge of the Scrum Agile methodology.
  6. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

  1. As a part of the development team, you will be working with the leads/client to understand the requirement.
  2. Supervising & overseeing the technical aspects of the project, regularly attending meetings to discuss the project, brainstorm ideas, and develop innovative solutions.
  3. Contribute to the full development cycle – Technical Designs, Development, Debug, Test Analysis, and Release.
  4. Perform code reviews and design documents, and give feedback on product specifications & mocks.
  5. Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows and recommend best practices/technologies to improve productivity.
  6. Mentor junior engineers to help them learn & grow their technical & functional expertise.
  7. Exhibit strong organizational skills, prioritize tasks, and deliver projects as per schedule.
  8. Partner effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
