You are successful, if you have:

  • Strong problem solving skills with 4+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • Solid OO analysis and design skills and experience working with design patterns
  • Expertise with any object oriented languages(C/C++/Java/Python).
  • Experience in troubleshooting of distributed high performance systems.
  • Experience working with users/developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues for backend infrastructure applications (e.g. databases, application servers, Hypervisors, etc.)
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, NoSQL.
  • A great team player attitude, with a do-what-ever-it-takes mentality.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Writing code to automate the infrastructure management, software/application deployment,
    monitoring, reporting and bench-marking.
  • Managing operations of a multi-data-center Linux private cloud with thousands of physical hosts and an army of VMs.
  • Work with product team architects, redesign solutions and solve customers’ issues with immediate impact.
  • Troubleshoot and research customer issues. These can range from development time SDK questions to performance tuning or failure analysis.
  • Reproduce customer cases for detailed troubleshooting and analysis. This may include writing or modifying code or simulating node failure situations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, passion for pinning down technical issues and solving problems.
  • Enthusiastic about learning everyday, looks forward to new technical challenges.
