Tech Visionary Entrepreneur – Product Architect (CTO-like)

You have still kept your coding skills sharp and will bring an unwavering passion for managing the dynamics of a fast-paced environment and for finding innovative, end-to-end engineering solutions to complex business problems.

Your day:

  • Architect and write back end code for web scale systems.
  • Develop in distributed systems environment, database/repository technology, along with multi-threaded programming.
  • Creating robust high-volume production applications.
  • Working closely with your direct team and the wider product team to design, scale, engineer, test and ship features to build a great product and delight our users.

Experience

8+ years of experience in OO programming

Qualification

  • 8+ years of experience in OO programming, preferably in Java (if you are good at Scala / Lua / Go, we’d like to hear from you.)
  • Solid expertise in building highly scalable, distributed services.
  • Experience in developing medium-to-large, multi-tiered web applications.
  • Hands-on production quality coding for >50% of the time.
  • You enjoy working with globally distributed, loosely coupled systems.
  • Great design and problem solving skills, strong in writing clean and elegant codes.
  • Experience in working on distributed databases, Cloud storage systems a big plus.
